Bill Withers was an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is known for such hit songs as “Ain’t No Sunshine,: “Lean on Me,” “Lovely Day,” “Just The Two Of Us,” and more. He won three Grammy Awards during his career after being nominated for nine, and he received numerous awards over his lifetime. Withers was inducted into the 2005 Songwriters Hall of Fame, and in 2015, into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
