Library Afro Revolution Day

Grandma’s Hands is thrilled to team together with two great children’s literacy influencers: Librarian Mychal Threets and Blair Imani who are hosting Library Afro Revolution on March 30th that will include Grandma’s Hands, our childrens book illustrated by multiple award winning artist R Gregory Christie that brings Bill’s soulful lyrics to life and depicts the significant impact Bill’s grandmother had on his life as a child!
Library Afro Revolution Day is a celebration of self love, self expression, Black culture, hair (or no hair), beauty, and more. Perfect for Library kids and adults alike. We will have book giveaways, face painting, photo booths and more! Let’s come together as a community to celebrate this revolution of love and learning.
